The preface section (click here) of the website holds a host of information about the game, the characters, and what we expect of people who join. It is very important that you read through this section.

Most importantly, you must read the rules. Our rules are your bible. Click here to read through the rule page.

Once you're familiar with the story and you've read all the rules, you can join. While we do not have a 'secret code,' you should be warned that if we believe you have not read the rules we can (and probably will) simply ban you. Now that we’re clear...

To join:

(1) Please copy and paste the following (do not format it in your joining post, we’re not impressed by html, we want to be able to read your joining post clearly please):

Color and Markings: (Proper genetics - if you don't know what we mean, click here! This includes any face and leg markings.)
Height: (Must be under 15hh unless you've received special permission.)
Build: (No specific breeds allowed.)
OOC Name: (What we call you when you’re not in character.)

(2) Following these important things, we want you to write out a post. This doesn’t have to be your character’s ‘first post’ as they come into the valley; it can be a post about anything! Maybe include some of their history. Be creative. What we want to see in your first post: that you’ve taken time, put in a lot of thought, and are ready to commit to your character and to the game.

(3) Lastly, all players (new and old) must fill out 25 traits for each character they join from this list (click here). What we’re looking for is that you have put in a real effort to create a full and well-rounded character. What we do not want to see is a character with clashing traits, for instance, a really sweet mare who’s kind and giving, but her main goal in life is to have fun and go wild, and when confronted is sarcastic and likes to start fights. (As dumb as that sounds, it’s a pretty common occurrence). We also don’t want to see valiant, over-intelligent “I’m perfect” characters. Boring! Put some flaws in your character and we’ll love you!

Now, if that hasn’t scared you off, POST! We love to have new players here, but we’re not opening our doors to anyone who just wants to play quick and not care. If you take time for us, we take time for you!

Once you've posted, please wait for an Adminator to approve you before you join in on the boards. In the meantime, please join us out of character on the Blab Board and introduce yourself! You can navigate your way there through the OOC or you can click here!
