Hatching Grounds

Thanks to Kahrain being created when technology was being rediscovered, the Hatching Grounds have a few added things to it that other Weyrs lack. The Hatching Grounds are heated like any Weyr, from underneath where the geothermic energy rises. But it is the top of the Hatching Grounds that is different. it has an automatic canvas cover that unrolls over it to prevent water damage when storm approach. It is conencted to the weather machines on the edge ring of the Weyr so they can sense the storm in advance. The tiers have electric lights on the stairs and the ends so if they do need to put the canvas on, the people inside can still see - the sands below are less well lit so it would be shadowy in that case, but it is rare that it is needed.
