These are more traditional than the Weyrling space in the southern Kahrain Weyr. They are far up at the southern edge of the rim where few other weyrs are so that the broadcasted emotions do not bother the other riders and the emotional turmoil of the newly bonded teenagers has less of a change to effect anyone besides each other. There is a communal ledge extending from a common room down through past each individual small weyrling room so that the dragonets may go out the large windows of their rooms onto the ledge. The rooms are big enough to hold a nine month old gold dragon and everyone gets a room to themselves, but once the dragonets can fly they are moved into regular weyrs. usually this is around six months or so. Weyrling lessons take place in the common room of the Heights, or in the Bowl. off of the common room is a long hallway of small rooms just big enough for the weyrling pair - not too small, since dragonets get very large, however. There are washrooms on the opposite side of the hallway between every three rooms. The Weyrlingmaster frankly doesn't care if girls and boys end up sharing a washroom - they'll just wait their turn.
