The Bowl is a full circle, with the seven spindles on the north, and the Hatching Sands below them, right beside the queens' weyrs, which are low to the ground compared to Kahrain's. The pens are on the western edge, holding more ovines and caprines than other Weyrs in the past, with fewer bovines than you would think - and actually, half of the ones there aren't for eating just because it can be a pain to get them up the mountains and are used for milk and human consumption instead. There is a lage lake in the middle where the dragons bathe. It has a few rocks on the southern side, but is mostly clear besides that. There is plenty of sand, and the Bowl is heated from below - the same can't always be said for the ground around it, or that it is heated up to warm levels in the winter. bathing can be a terrible burden in winter. There are a few sparse groves of trees and gardens and entrances to the rest of the Weyr all around the circle.
