Yes, there was a different 'feeling' altogether when Tim was playing but even he got worn down with the dream he so cherished, think Austria. In a way it's not fair to Murray to play DC, he cannot win it alone and he may injure himself for the tour. Best to let the new British players have a go. It's vital experience for them and can only help long term the aims of British tennis. Maybe in those lower ranks lurks another Tim Henman.

I remember when we played Zimbabwe at Crystal P. Both Tim & Greg were injured and couldn't play, BUT they both turned up to support Andrew and Jamie, which showed their level of commitment. - By Gill Hurrell September 26, 2009 at 11:42:20 AM
